Posts
The system Blog is part of FoxCoreCMS and is not listed among installable or removable modules. Manage it in the separate Blog section. Create categories and posts, choose feed and full-article templates, and set the publication date and active state. For every language, enter the name, HTML title, meta description, keywords, article body, and author. The body uses the visual editor; the image comes from the shared media library.
URLs and relationships
Readable addresses come from the site structure and URL settings. Check post URLs in all languages. Do not change an indexed URL without a redirect. Category links, cards, and language navigation should lead to the corresponding published pages.
Feed templates live under modules/blog/templates/feed/ and full-article templates under modules/blog/templates/article/. You may create several feeds. Each has a name, ID, template, post count, sorting, category, and active state. A post may have its own article template; otherwise it uses the Blog default. Supported URLs include /blog/article.html, /blog/category/article.html, /blog/page2.html, and /blog/category/page2.html. Legacy query-string pagination redirects to the canonical URL. A slug can be entered manually or generated from the primary-language name; check its uniqueness before saving.
Translation
Choose a provider under Settings → Languages: DeepL and OpenAI are supported. The API key lives separately in storage/private/secrets.json and is not shown again in the form. When translation is enabled, a button appears in multilingual editors. Its mode determines whether only empty fields are filled or existing translations are replaced. Review terminology, links, and SEO text manually after machine translation.
Automatic translation may fill empty fields, but it does not replace editorial review. Check product terminology, headings, calls to action, and metadata before publishing. To add a language, enable it in settings first, then complete the language tabs of the relevant content.
Images
Set the width of administration image previews in general settings. Their height is calculated automatically and the whole image is shown without cropping. Blog, Gallery, and Slider have separate width settings for generated variants; the source file is retained.
Use the media library for shared assets. Upload a cover image large enough for both the card and article header, and review its crop and alternative text. After replacing an image, inspect the result on both desktop and mobile screens.
